Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Last updated 28 August 2026

These terms govern your use of RideX ("we", "us", "the platform"), available at ridebooking.online and through our mobile app. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use RideX.

In short: RideX connects customers with independent driver partners. We are a technology platform, not a transport company. Drivers are not our employees. Fares are paid in cash directly to the driver. You must be 18 or older to use RideX.

1. What RideX is, and is not

RideX operates a technology platform that puts customers in contact with independent driver partners who provide transport services. We do not own vehicles, employ drivers, or provide transport ourselves.

The contract for the journey is between you and the driver partner. RideX facilitates that connection, handles the booking, and calculates the fare.

2. Eligibility

3. Obligations of driver partners

If you register as a driver partner, you confirm and continue to confirm that:

These are your legal obligations, not ours. Providing false documents or driving without valid papers is an offence, and you remain personally responsible for it. We may suspend or remove you at any time, without notice, if we have reason to doubt any of the above.

4. Fares and payment

5. Your conduct

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms.

6. Safety

Driver partners are reviewed before they can accept trips, and we check the documents they submit. We cannot guarantee the conduct of any individual user or driver. Please use the safety features provided: verify the vehicle number before boarding, share your trip, and use the SOS function if you feel unsafe. In an emergency, contact the police on 112 first.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify RideX against claims, losses and legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or — if you are a driver partner — from your operating a vehicle without the valid licence, permits, insurance or documents required by law.

9. Insurance

RideX does not provide insurance cover for journeys. Driver partners are required to hold their own valid insurance covering commercial passenger use. Customers may wish to hold their own personal travel or accident cover.

10. Data and privacy

We collect your name, mobile number and location as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your account at any time through our account deletion page.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account at any time if we believe these terms have been breached, if documents appear false, or if there is a risk to the safety of others. You may stop using RideX at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version number and date at the top will change, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. For material changes we will ask you to accept again.

13. Grievance officer

In accordance with applicable Indian law, complaints about the platform or about content may be sent to our Grievance Officer:

Grievance Officer, RideX
Email: grievance@ridebooking.online

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Rewari, Haryana, without prejudice to any consumer's right to approach a consumer forum where they reside.

15. Regulatory status

Ride-hailing aggregators in India are regulated under the Motor Vehicles Aggregator Guidelines, 2020, with licences issued by each state's transport authority. RideX operates only where it is permitted to do so.
